苯乙烯基染料 RH237 是一种快速反应电位探针，主要用于神经元的功能成像，还用于监测细胞膜电位，突触活动和神经元离子通道活性。苯乙烯基染料通常的吸收或激发光谱蓝移为 20 nm，发射光谱蓝移为 80 nm。
